[FALSE TWINS] - FLOWERS

We adopted a distant blue shade as the main palette and adorned the core with natural jute. Woodstock New Age aimed to evoke the lightness, peace, and carefree spirit that characterized the Woodstock of the 60s. As a tribute to the festival, where 2D flowers were symbolic, we reimagined the concept in 3D, playing with their proportions.

The structure's petals and bulb were inspired by my mother's wedding ring, which she wanted to transform and bring back to life as a flower.

[CANOPY] - STAGE

The canopy served as a cocoon, hosting the Sunday stage of the Woodstock_Newage festival.
We chose to play with the cocoon formed by the silkworm.

During its metamorphosis, the silkworm weaves its new refuge in silk fiber, which helps it transform into a butterfly, the mulberry silkworm moth.
This phase is called the chrysalis.

The jute fabric canopy is a defining element of this project. Its weave, inspired by silk-glass patterns, lets light filter through, creating an airy, open feel that hints at something magical happening just beyond.
We took it a step further by weaving the festival logo directly into the fabric—an extra touch detail.

Couscous connexion carnival - Set design Scenography for a stage hosting dj set and band.

How to combine a concert and a dj set on the same stage?
How to make a big stage look smaller. Maybe the trompe l'oeil stages of Italian theatres?
That was the mission on this project.
Using chess to animate the floor of the stage, was a nod to Tunisian farniente.
