Nomadman festival is a dance retreat in a camp in Tembaine, in the Tunisian Sahara. The aim was to create a layout plan for the festival's installation in the camp, first to make it more ergonomic, and then to design the various equipment needed to host the festival.

The use of natural materials to enhance the festival was of prime importance. Dried palm trunks, palm branch bark and branches.
The stage is strongly inspired by the structural features of nomadic tents, with a touch of the aesthetics of Japanese temples, with their strong spiritual character.

The entrance to the festival is marked by a portico inspired by the “Torii”, inviting festival-goers to enter the festival grounds.

A second stage, a sanctuary formed of arches and canopies for workshops, and a bar adorned with local nature decorate the route.
Finally, a memorial dedicated to Palestine has taken its place, using the trunk structure of the Love temple!

Love Temple - Set design

Immersive experience - Jrid, palm trunk, purple metallic fabric and metal structure

"We invite you to imagine the temple of love in the future, 300 years from now, nestled in the desert."

This immersive experience is shared with a group of tourists engaging in team building activities. Well-being and spirituality are at the core of this unique journey.
The welcoming ceremony takes place through a spatio-temporal rift. The participants are then guided through a tunnel, accompanied by a narrative, leading them towards the temple where the experiences unfold, as well as to a dedicated space for rest and relaxation.

How can we conceptualize the spatio-temporal rift?
Which fabrics should we use for the tunnel? How can we create an immersive lighting experience within the tunnel?
What techniques can we employ to project mapping and suspend a dancer from the temple's totems?
What shapes and materials should be used for the rest area in this temple of love?
